website shakeup and shake-down

So, my webmistress the mighty if sleepless alfreda89 has gotten the revamped if not entirely live yet website up and running in time for the new books, all hail alfreda89 and may her naps be long and satisfying.

Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to go henceforth to http://www.sff.net/people/lauraanne.gilman and report back on what you like, don't like, etc.

Keep in mind a) that it's still a work in progress, and b) that giving reasons WHY you don't like something is e'er so much more helpful than "god, Gilman, that color's 'orrible!"


And yes, I do plan to get a domain name. Someday. Soon, maybe, even.

Fictionwise stuff, and more!

So, Staying Dead is #7 on the Fictionwise fantasy list. It's a small list in a small pond, but it pleases me nonetheless. The reader review -- only one, but they liked it, they really liked it! -- pleases me even more.

And, for those of you craving that next Wren Valere fix, the short story "Palimpsest" (from Powers of Detection) is also up on Fictionwise, and only 64 cents! Go, read. Hey, Publishers Weekly liked it, so will you!
