The editor who was taking a look at a rewrite I did on a story (based on the editor's comments) has passed on it a second and final time. It was better, sayeth the editor, but not better enough to buy.

It's a damn good story. It's been almostthere with two very tough markets. I know it will find a home. Soon. Really. I do know this.


I'm just all sort of slumped right now.

Expert Info Needed!

Okay, I have come to a place in the manuscript where my note says "get Expert info." So here I am, asking for expert info.

I need a handgun, preferably small but powerful, that a man who had access to quite the toyshop about ten-fifteen years ago would have chosen to carry.

Anyone? Kath? Sinjun? Help?
