I will not see the end of Part II tonight. By tomorrow, though....
Y'know? I think, maybe, just maybe...this book's all right. Am I on schedule for thinking that? Am I too early? Don't worry, I'll most likely kill it in the morning.
-------
some actual dialogue between myself and
kradical:
"Thank you for getting me out of the apartment. I was really ready to kill someone*."
"so we came here, to a large store full of people."
"Yeah, but I expect the people here to be stupid**."
"Good point."
-----------
I am now full of fresh fettucini with a Florentine sauce with extra roasted garlic, which is exactly what is needed after a long stressful day and a brisk walk in cold air. I'd have a glass of red wine, too, but there's work still to be done this evening, and while I can work on one glass of wine I suspect I'd have two, and from there, to *thudsnore*
------------------
The publisher who screwed the pooch on the rush freelance gig still hasn't gotten me the correct info. Massive facepalming on all sides. My poor co-ordinator, it's not her fault. I've been given the go-ahead to invoice for the material I already handed in, tho. So that's Very Good.
------------------------
Alas, I have watched all the episodes of the Muppet Show, second season. *has sadness*
Also: is it always wrong to put a sticker on a cat's nose?
*I have been wrangling writers as well as manuscript, and my temper was stretched just a bit sharp
** not to diss Target or anything but oh dear. Never go there but I see an example of Teh Speshul Stupid. And I didn't even find what I needed.
