weather update

lauraanne_gilmanWind had been picking up all afternoon, but the sky was merely overcast with occasional sun. Thunder started about fifteen minutes ago, and suddenly someone turned out the lights. I got the windows closed just before the rain started -- it's currently lashing at the windows like it's pissed it can't get in.
Our first thunderstorm of the season. *is gleeful* I suspect we're in for a night of rolling rain fronts.
Update: Yep, looks to be rolling fronts. This is going to be fun, she said without a trace of sarcasm.
(and of course, ten minutes before I get an e-mail -- "wanna go out tonight?" Excellent timing, C. Really. :-P )
