Snow! Work! and more on Dublin Carol

As the header might imply, we woke to snow this morning. This was a surprise, as at 11pm last night the weather report was for a cold snap, but no precipitation. No matter: it's a small amount to merely look pretty and not cause too much chaos. But I knew, when I woke up, that Something Had Happened; there's an entirely different feel to the air when snow's on the ground, even when you're inside.
Meanwhile, busy like busy things here -- my life has exploded recently (in a good, income-producing way), and in order to fit everything that's priority into my life, I'm having to pare some other things away. Like, oh, sleep. And tv. But not LJ -- in fact, expect to see even more posts from me, as the work ramps up. They may be incoherent, but at least you'll know I'm still alive.
And I think it may be time to change the default icon back. Or find one with a meerkat sucking down from a mug...
And, for those of the Billy Petersen Appreciation clique....
A review from Theatermania.com (I disagree with some of their observations, but overall we saw the same play).
The official photo gallery from Trinity Rep (if you look hard in the second photo, you'll see stairs in the lower left hand of the photo. I was sitting about three seats in from the third stair up...)
