lauraanne_gilmanSo, it's been a long, warmish day, and the felines are worn out, as is their mom. Boomerang's sound asleep on top of the coffee table (his favorite spot when mom's in the lounge). Pandora comes padding in, stops, sniffs the air.
Uh-oh, I think. This usually leads to chasing and hissing. She walks around the table, very quietly. Usually, when Boomer's around, she's either on top of the sofaback, or under the cofffee table, and glaring at him.
This time? She gets up on her hind legs, and stretches out to sniff at the sleeping Boomer. Then, very slowly, very carefully, she reaches out one paw and taps him gently on the hind leg.
He, being a guy, barely bats an ear, but keeps sleeping.
She's clearly disappointed, and goes under the table to wait for him to wake up. And do what? I fear to ask.
But that one moment of outstretched, tentative yet intent paw? Totally adorable.
