1. My username is ____ because ____.
2. My journal is titled ____ because ____.
3. My subtitle is ____ because ____.
4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.
5. My default userpic is ____ because ____.
1. suricatta -- because at the time both meerkat (my actual nickname) and "suricata" (Latin for meerkat) were taken. Suricatta suricattus is the full Latin name, so....
Amusingly enough, "suri" has become my standard on-line nickname now, and only RL friends still call me meerkat.
2. Writer. Editor. Tired Person -- the Livejournal Version -- because, well, it is. "Writer. Editor. Tired Person" is the name of my web site. This is the LJ version. Look, logic! Don't expect much of that around here, do ya?
3. suricata's burrow & bitch-slap generator -- because, well... that's sort of evident, non? This is my kick back and relax and share a bottle of wine place, and sometimes, yeah, I wind up and bitch-slap someone who's abusing their right to be a moron in public.
4. cheat sheet for social interaction -- because that's exactly what it is -- a way to keep up on what's going on with people, when I don't have time or energy to track them all downfor coffee and gossip. To misquote Blackadder, I'm a busy woman, Baldrick -- post on this, will you? (that was a joke specifically for Keith and Terri, yes).
5. An icon of me because I really, really don't take good photographs, but wanted to 'personalize' my general posts in a general way. I sort of actually do look like the icon, by the way. Although I swear my chin's not that pointy...
