(as an aside: moving back and forth from a 3rd person mostly-male historical second-world fantasy adventure to a first-person female POV contemporary fantasy caper adventure is.... um... not easy. Interesting, but not easy.)

Y'know? I think, maybe, just maybe...this book's all right. Am I on schedule for thinking that? Am I too early? Don't worry, I'll most likely kill it in the morning.

I am now full of fresh fettucini with a Florentine sauce with extra roasted garlic, which is exactly what is needed after a long stressful day and a brisk walk in cold air. I'd have a glass of red wine, too, but there's work still to be done this evening, and while I can work on one glass of wine I suspect I'd have two, and from there, to *thudsnore*

The publisher who screwed the pooch on the rush freelance gig still hasn't gotten me the correct info. Massive facepalming on all sides. My poor co-ordinator, it's not her fault. I've been given the go-ahead to invoice for the material I already handed in, tho. So that's Very Good.
