lauraanne_gilman: (brain. hurts.)
I left the house at 6:45 this morning. I got home at 11:30 this evening.

However, I was on the clock for thirteen of those hours, so it wasn't all bad.

But gods and lil' fishies, I'm glad the sum total of my to-do list tomorrow is "coddle kittens," "polish chapters," and "go to post awful."

from CNN.com

Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Cheney's chief of staff, indicted by grand jury on charges of obstruction of justice, making false statements and perjury in CIA leak probe.

okay, one comment. Republians claiming that the terms of this indictment are 'technicalities?' Need to have "hypocrite' branded somewhere painful. Because I seem to remember perjury as being one of their major screaming-points not a few years back....

Perjury on the topic of national security is NOT a technicality. I don't give a flying fcku what party you belong to, who you've gotten money from, or what side of the aisle your posterior rests on.

It's a light one, as befitting my exhausted status: )

Other than that, it's all business-y meal-things. Them as will be there (Barry!), no doubt I'll see you in the bar, or you an drop me an e- or sing out here if you want to set anything up more formal-like....
