4. What's your favorite restaurant?
One? I only get one? The Dining Room, in NJ. Except when I think about some of the other marvellous places I've eaten over the years... it's a weighted scale involving decor+food+service+companion....
5. Last time you swam in a pool?
Oh god. Three years ago? I really don't like pools.
6. Have you ever been in a school play?
Twice. I much preferred to be working back stage.

8. Type of music you dislike most?
Christian country.

Yes.
10. Have you ever ridden on a 4 wheeler?
Yes.
11. Have you ever made a prank phone call?
A long time ago in a pre-adolescence far far away

significant other.
13. Would you go bungee jumping or skydiving?
I'd love to. Except I'd be the one clinging to the side of the bridge/plane screaming "mommeeeee!" I love heights. Love the sensation of free-falling. Am terrified of bad landings.
14. Farthest place you ever traveled?
Israel
15. Do you have a garden?
Just a lot of house plants.
16. What's your favorite comic strip?
Currently? "Something*Positive"
17. Do you read a newspaper every day?
on-line, yes.
18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?
*thinks about it* Yeah, actually. I also know most of Canada's. I've watched too many hockey games.
19. Bath or Shower, morning or night?
Yes. Yes. (hot water? Sign me up!)
20. Best movie(s) you've seen in the past month?
The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, for viewing-in-theater. But I watched Casablanca on DVD, so that's not a fair question...
21. Favorite pizza toppings?
anchovies!
(in-joke, sorry. Although I do like wee fishies, my favorite topping is blue cheese and hickory-smoked chicken. I know it sounds gross, but it's good!)
22. Chips or popcorn?
Popcorn. I am a popcorn addict.
23. Have you ever smoked peanut shells?
I've smoked peanuts in their shells...
24. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant?
oh fuck, no.
25. Orange Juice or Apple Juice?
I like them both, but drink more OJ
26. Who were the last people you went out to lunch or dinner with?
my editor.
27. Favorite type chocolate bar?
Oh god. Cadbury Crunchie? They're totally addictive. But I also love Snickers, the only candy bar you can give a hickey to.
28. When's the last time you voted at the polls?
This election day past.
29. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato?
Never. Don't like tomatoes.
30. Have you ever won a trophy?
Define "trophy." Probably not, although somewhere I do have a couple of horse show ribbons....
31. Are you a good cook?
In all modesty, probably better than "good."
32. Do you know how to pump your own gas?
Yes. But the smell of gasoline makes me ill, so I don't, whenever possible.
33. Sprite or 7-Up?
ginger ale. with a slice of lime.
34. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to school/work?
Yes. Miserable experience.
35. Last thing you ate?
cheese burito
36. Ever thrown up in public?
On rt 3. Out the side of the limo. If I hadn't been so damn happy I'd have been miserable.
37. Would you prefer being a millionaire or finding true love?
money can buy happiness. love can bring joy. Give me love, every time.
38. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Love, no. Significant and lasting attraction that leads to love, yes. Been there, done that. Twice.
39. Can exes be just friends?
only if they were friends to begin with.
40. Who was the last person you visited in the hospital?
a friend with pneumonia.
41. Did you have long hair as a young kid?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no, as my mood struck me. Occasionally it was very long.
42. What messages are in your voice mail?
Two old saved messages I keep for sappy sentimental reasons.
43. Where would you like to go right now?
I've got a passport and a credit card. Pick a destination, I'm game.
44. What was the name of your first pet?
Shana Maidel was my first pet. The first family pet I remember was Sebastian, the Great Tuxedo Beast of Bast.
45. What kind of bag do you have, and whats in it?
Pocketbook? I have two that I switch between -- one's black leather, the other's brown. At any given time they contain my wallet, an enamel pillbox, my sunglasses, a pen, my PDA, my keys, chapstick, and a metrocard. Occasionally a lipstick.
46. What was the last thing you drank?
Water.
47. What is one thing you are grateful for today?
I'm doing what I love, every day.
48. What do you think about most?
I have too many thoughts to narrow that down. Work, probably. But that's such a multifaceted thing...
49. What is your New Year's resolution?
1. better time management
2. to remember to raise my face to the sunlight on a regular basis.
