Well, we seem to have survived the Downpour (at one point, looking out the window of the cafe I was sitting in, you couldn't see an inch past the window, much less across the street). We're still clocking strong enough wind to stagger people walking on the street, but the skies are clear and pale blue. I hope everyone's got power, dry basements, and no tree limbs down on anything important....
Having played yesterday, I must pay, today. And try to convince my body that it really is time to work, no matter what my internal clock says (yet another reason to hate the government. Interferring, time-changing bastards. Ugh.).
Goal today is to finish off the rough draft of "Dreamcatcher," andtype up an editorial letter. And maybe make chocolate crepes. Mmmmmmm.
EtA: also got hijacked by bright sunshine and a long walk down the Stairs of Doom (and back up again, toting my hunter-gatherer spoils).
