Despite my first wild leap of glee at seeing the headline, natural caution (acquired pesssimism) soon set in. I'm sure this is just a way to avoid, somehow, answering questions under oath while still doing damage.
(still. The official Age of Rovercizing is over. This calls for sparkling in the breakfast oj, to my mind)

alfreda89 points out that the White House is using this moment to also finally utter the D-word -- not Democrat, but draft. Johnnie and Jane, put down your college books and pick up your gun, your Führer, er, president calls upon you....
(yes, I hate Rove. Not dislike, not even distrust, although lord knows that's there too. I hate the man for the damage done under his hand and by his word, and if I were the type to burn things in effigy, he'd be first on the list.)
