Iced Thai coffee. Eeeevil. But good.
Aug. 13th, 2006 04:44 pmIt's a beautiful afternoon in this New England neighborhood: the sky is blue, the temps a comfortable upper 70's, the breeze hinting at crisper weather to come, and yet the foliage is all still fresh. I went for a bike ride in the park, and wished I'd brought my camera to catch the red of the Rock against the blue of the sky and the green of the leaves and the blue-slate of the river....
Temps for this week are supposed to hit a high of 83. I shall, mid-November through mid-March, look back on this and remember why I love New England.
Working on the line edit. Working out the specifics of a number of stories in my head, none of which are ready to come out and play just yet. Doing laundry, and carding a full kitten's worth of fur off the felines. Ah, the wonder and excitement of my life.
Elsewhere, someone's "black belt in origami" made me snort said iced coffee. I think I need to cut back. Even for me, there's a limit to how much caffeine I can handle in a 12-hour period. *twitch*
In meanwhile, I have a Question to post to the masses, but the "screen all" comment function doesn't seem to be working for me. Any suggestions?
