Monday Meme
May. 8th, 2006 11:39 amIn that lettering meme that's going around and around,
karenmiller tagged me with an... H.
H is for...
Home. Not just a place to put your stuff. It's where the hat is, the heart is, the happiness is.
Health. Physical, mental, emotional. If you don't have it, you're going uphill both ways in a downpour.
Heart. Not flowers and candy, but meat-muscle pumping blood every single minute of every single day. What they say someone has, when they struggle across that impossible finish line long after every rational sense would have given up.
The Hermit. A card of solitude; the choice of stagnation or inner growth. A safe place to contemplate healing.
Hassle. Life's too short for it.
Harrods. 'Tis a silly place, but fun.
Horse. One of Nature's better works.
Human. Upright ape. Not one of Nature's better works, but some of them are okay.
Harvest. Aching knees and shoulders, offset by fresh produce. The race with Nature, and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Hate. A false god. Takes much energy and produces little of worth; for strong emotions, I'd rather have love.
