Day 1

of Retrievers Book 4, that is.


I have the soul and I have the skeleton (pending some adjustments from the chiro, er, agent). So now it's time to begin the fun part: applying flesh and blood and veins and icky internal bits.

Deadline looms far, far ahead. We'll see how fast it suddenly zooms up into my rear view mirror.

You know you're tired when...

You're out for your morning walk, and see a 6-foot-tall orange mouse down the street. And you continue walking three more steps before your brain goes: Orange. Mouse. And then you walk another two steps before you think: Person. In mouse suit.

And you're back in the apartment before you wonder what the person in the orange mouse suit was doing in the orange mouse suit.
