The Writing Life: CGAG'd!
Nov. 10th, 2005 09:32 pmTonight was the semi-monthly CGAG writers' group meeting, wherein everyone actually submitted something for critting. Yay us!
The group got the first two chapters of the New Project from me. This is a rather interesting departure for me, stylewise, and I was more'n a bit nervous. Despite some nitpicking and "you hadn't had coffee when you typed this bit," it passed muster surprisingly well. In fact, it's possible to say that they liked it. Even with all the semi-colons. *grin*
Yay me. Yay Manon. Yay Seb. Onward to chapter three...
(it was also a good meeting in that there was a) a bottle of wine and b) expensive chocolates, because a) a member had had a bad day and b) other members had sold work. Okay, so the diet starts tomorrow).
