Book Expo appearance
May. 15th, 2005 07:45 amI had mentioned this below, but was informed that it needed its own post, with explanation.
So. On Friday, June 3rd, I will be attending Book Expo America in New York City, to do a signing in support of Curse the Dark (early reading copies? May very well be!) and Staying Dead. We (myself and two other Luna auhtors) are scheduled for 1-2 pm at the Luna/Harlequin booth.
BEA is a book professionals trade fair for publishers, reviewers, librarians, booksellers, authors, etc, not a public event. If you can qualify under one of those headings (i.e. have a business card or company letterhead), and have the cash to burn (membership for three days is, I think, about $150, BEA is something to experience at least once. Plus, membership gets you into the signings. :-)
Just remember to wear comfortable walking shoes. Lots of booths you'll want to visit. Lots and lots of booths. And freebies!
You can get more information on the signings here.
If anyone is going to be in town for the event, let me know!
