as much as I love winter?

That's how much I really as a rule don't like summer. Especially and specifically that whole "bright hot sunlight" thing.


It's currently in the upper 80's outside. Sunshine-y. And humid, because a storm's coming in.

(although, thunderstorm would be nice, yes it would, she said thoughtfully. I've missed my thunderstorms...)

various, meet sundry

Back from CGAG (the writers' group) wherein good abuse was had, and chocolates shared (as is the tradition when someone makes a sale) and gossip was exchanged, and whatnot. And home in time to get stuff done before a Persephone committee meeting.

Still coughing, true, but the temps have cooled down a bit, and there's a breeze coming through the windows, and the felines seem to be having another momentary truce. So all is well with the world.

UPDATE: and my new laptop has shipped! *does the dance of new tech toy joy*


And yet, I still feel the need for ( more evil world domination stuff... )
